A SASSY FLORIST
The following space is proposed for a floral atelier, a small business of floral arrangements.
The
client requested a 500 sqf studio with personalized amenities. The ideal location was found
in a commercial space in a shophouse in Mohamed Sultan Road in Singapore. The unit came
with a bathroom, a pantry, and high windows, that needed a transformation to accommodate
the client’s demands.
An emerald work island is the focal point of the room.
In addition, a lounge area surrounded by floating
elements divides the space efficiently. Although
the size could be more generous, the interior feels
spacious and restful.
The rounded ceiling extension and the neutral tones
give the space a soothing softness and transform it
into an oasis rather than a workspace.
